The company will have both indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces and is a ‘Sustainability Partner’ for the show. Plus, Caterpillar will chair a technical session on day three of the event.

The inside space, booth numbers 102 – 104, will feature a large screen presenting Caterpillar’s full range of underground solutions, including the latest models: the diesel electric Cat® R2900 XE Load Haul Dump (LHD) and R1700 XE battery electric LHD loaders; and the 63 t payload Cat AD63 Underground Truck. These new models highlight how Caterpillar continually improves its products and seeks out new ways of mining, to reduce impact and to get more out of electrification and automation.

Cleaner, faster and more powerful than the R2900G, the new R2900 XE LHD on display outside the exhibit hall offers 52% quicker acceleration, 31% reduction in fuel burn, and a 35% increase in breakout force. Caterpillar’s first diesel electric underground LHD, the new loader features a proven switched reluctance electric drive system and is built to meet the underground mining industry’s need for bigger payloads, faster loading, and reduced emissions.
