Atlas Copco acquires Hy-Performance Fluid Power

Atlas Copco has acquired Hy-Performance Fluid Power, an Australian mining service business, in an undisclosed deal expected to be completed in 1Q18.
Hy-Performance provides remanufacturing, service and repair of hydraulic components for drill rigs, with sales primarily in Australia.
“The strong team at Hy-Performance Fluid Power will play an important role as we continue to strengthen our value offering to mining and infrastructure customers,” said Helena Hedblom, President of Atlas Copco’s mining and rock excavation technique business area.
Hy-Performance will become part of the service division in Atlas Copco’s mining and rock excavation technique business area, and will be listed as Epiroc on the stock exchange.
