Inflection Resources has announced the results from the world’s largest real-time ANT copper survey with Fleet Space’s ExoSphere technology across over 1800 km2 of their exploration licences, conducted as part of Phase I of Inflection’s Exploration Agreement with AngloGold Ashanti. This took place in Macquerie Arc, Australia.

“Conducting the world’s largest real-time ANT copper survey with Inflection in the Macquarie Arc is a seminal moment in the history of exploration. ExoSphere’s hyper-scalable, real-time 3D imaging is rapidly enhancing our understanding of the geology, opportunity zones and data-driven targeting potential in the Macquarie Arc and other copper systems worldwide,” said Flavia Tata Nardini, CEO and Co-Founder of Fleet Space Technologies.

Results from the regional ANT copper survey with ExoSphere identified previously unknown large-scale faults and other zones representing potential large intrusions at depths up to 5 km. Based on these new insights, Inflection has determined multiple new priority targets for further exploration with the goal of developing large-scale drill targets in conjunction with AngloGold Ashanti.

“We are very pleased with the results of the regional ANT survey which is helping us rapidly to reduce the search space of our district scale land package and vector towards potential new porphyry style mineralisation,” said Alistair Waddell, Inflection’s President and CEO.

Inflection’s decision to use Fleet Space’s end-to-end mineral exploration, ExoSphere, to conduct a regional ANT copper survey across its licences followed from ExoSphere’s imaging of several unknown features at their Duck Creek project, including potential intrusive bodies, zones of hydrothermal alteration, and kilometre-scale structures. This led AngloGold Ashanti to shift the designation of Duck Creek from Phase 1 to Phase II under their Exploration Agreement with Inflection Resources - which includes drilling targets identified with ExoSphere’s geophysical surveys.

“We believe this cutting-edge real-time ANT technology is an important new exploration tool as it provides a homogeneous, primary dataset that when combined with regional gravity and magnetic surveys is greatly assisting with the prioritisation of different areas for drill testing,” added Mr. Waddell. “This survey has generated a number of new, previously unrecognised target areas for follow-up higher resolution ANT surveys and/or drill targeting.”
