Calix and PLS to recommence construction of mid-stream project

Highlights:

• The project will restart following the award of a AUS$15 million grant from the WA government.
• The project aims to complete construction and commence commissioning in the 4Q25, and remains on budget.
• The project now directly benefits from support from state and federal governments.
• The mid-stream process is designed to create and capture more value from Australian mineral resources through cost-effective mineral processing at the mine site.
• In parallel with the completion of the project, the JV will continue to explore opportunities to scale and deploy the technology to the global supodumene industry.

The JV's decision to recommence construction of the Project follows the execution of a AUS$15 million grant from the Western Australian Government. The grant funding will be used to reduce the respective construction cost share of the JV parties®. The project remains on budget and is 74% complete to the end of December 2024.

The JV remains committed to the commercialisation of the mid-stream technology to the broader lithium processing industry, and will continue to pursue options to scale and deploy the technology at other global lithium assets.
