Magna Tyres selected to supply tyres for test period in DRC copper mine

Recently, Congo Retreat & Tyre was tasked with supplying tyres for heavy-duty vehicles involved in the construction of one of the largest and important copper mine sites in the Democratic Republic of Congo. For the articulated dump trucks, Magna Tyres Group (Magna Tyres) was called upon to supply their 29.5R25 Magna M-Terrain tyres for a test period.

According to Magna Tyres, the 29.5R25 Magna M-Terrain tyres have delivered on the promise of outclassing any other tyre. The positive feedback from the client regarding the performance of their equipment is encouraging. The  feels confident that the rest of the trucks will be fitted out with more Magna Tyres tyres in the very near future.

The E4 profile on the tyre is very suitable for the conditions in which they are used. The rough terrain has proven to be no challenge for the 29.5R25 Magna M-Terrain tyres. The client is reportedly impressed with the toughness and the efficiency of the tyres. Not only will they have tyres that are more durable, they are also looking at a reduction in costs per hour to operate the trucks.
