Global Mining Review,
Hunt Mining Corp. has announced the eighth and ninth concentrate shipments from the Martha Mine project in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. The combined total ounces of silver and gold were 79 099 troy oz and 87.8 troy oz respectively.
While continuing to mine the remnants of predecessors’ exploitation activities at Martha, Hunt is also evaluating the metallurgy of the gold and silver veins on its La Josefina property for optimum flotation processing and investing in modifying the Martha mill to accommodate the new metallurgy.
Ongoing production at the Martha project is being undertaken without established mineral resources or reserves; the company has also yet to establish the economic viability of the operations on the Martha project.
