Magna tyres prove a success at Middle East iron mine

A large mining operator in the Middle East recently selected 27.00R49 Magna MA04+ Giants to serve their Rigid dump trucks. Now, after three months of intensive usage, the first site check has been carried out and the all steel radial constructed tyres with E4 tread pattern have shown only slight signs of even tread depth wear and no damages.

The customer required tyres for transporting huge amounts of iron over the total haul distance from the open pit mine to the dump area without any downtime or failures.

Due to the severe road conditions including the risk of damage from sharp rocks and other objects, the customer decided to select the special cut-compound recommended by Magna.

The customer is very satisfied with the tyre performance and expects to achieve a great reduction in their total cost per hour.

Maaden selects Metso to deliver a gold processing plant to the Ar Rjum project in Saudi-Arabia

Maaden has commissioned Metso to supply a gold processing plant for their Ar Rjum mine located in the Makkah Region, approximately 200 km northeast of Ta’if, Ar Rjum in Saudi-Arabia.
