Thomas Vallant appointed president of Sandvik Ground Support

Thomas Vallant brings more than 20 years of mining industry experience and has held multiple positions within Sandvik since joining the company in 2005. Most recently, he served as President of the Mechanical Cutting division.

A certified international mining engineer, Vallant holds a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialisation in automation and an MBA from the Institute of Management in Salzburg, Austria.
