Global Mining Review,
CR, a global provider of productivity solutions to the mining industry, will now operate as CR Powered by Epiroc.
The brand evolution comes after the company’s February 2023 acquisition by Epiroc, a Sweden-based innovative mining and construction equipment OEM.
CR Powered by Epiroc engineers advanced mining products and digital solutions for surface and underground mines, including lips, GET, dragline buckets and rigging, payload management, and GET monitoring.
The company previously went to market with two brands, with lips and GET falling under CR Mining and digital solutions under CR Digital.
From April 2023, both business units will be united under the CR Powered by Epiroc umbrella.
Hannah Sabih, Global Marketing Manager for CR Powered by Epiroc, said:
“This change provides an opportunity to unite CR Digital and CR Mining under a single, powerful brand, married with the global strength of Epiroc.”
The acquisition and new brand mark the next step in CR Powered by Epiroc’s journey of innovation, growth, and customer-first collaboration.
John Barbagallo, CR CEO, comments:
“Following Epiroc’s acquisition of CR Powered by Epiroc, we have been impressed with their warm welcome into the Epiroc group of companies, and a collective desire to make CR a better business for the future. We all look forward to Epiroc’s support as we build upon our market leading products and solutions all aimed at enhancing safety, productivity, and maintainability outcomes, while reducing emissions through CR’s product performance efficiencies.”
