MICROMINE and IMDEX align for improved integration

According to MICROMINE, the REFLEX IQ-LOGGER handheld structural logging device can simply be rolled along the orientation line on diamond core automatically recording depth and structural measurements can be taken at the press of a button.

The solution nullifies the excessive time required for logging, while the digital transfer of structural measurements provides a reliable digital audit trail. The inbuilt data verification capability via immediate stereonet projection ensures orientations are accurate and reliable.

Geologists and geotechnical engineers across the mining value chain use the data from the REFLEX IQ-LOGGER for a better understanding of the orientation of ore controlling structures.

 

The Geobank development team reportedly saw the integration as a key strategic direction for the product. The integration will simplify and optimise the collection of data, particularly in remote areas with poor connectivity. Rather than storing and analysing data in the cloud or a proprietary database, users now have the ability to do this on-site and in near real-time. Another key benefit is the seamless integration of REFLEX IQ-LOGGER data collection with the logging workflow within Geobank mobile.
