Hexagon’s Mining division has announced plans to build on its recently launched Channel Partner Program by extending its reach to China. For the first time, the division will showcase its integrated life-of-mine solutions at Hexagon’s regional users’ conference, HxGN LOCAL Beijing.
Customers and global business leaders attend the annual three day event to learn from Hexagon product specialists, network with industry experts, and explore digital solutions for a range of fields.
Backed by a strong staff presence, mining will feature heavily in the 10 - 12 September event, with the entire product portfolio displayed via presentations and demonstrations. Leading the Mining division contingent at the show will be President, Josh Weiss.
“We’re always excited about the opportunity to reach new mines, especially in a country as vast and as diverse as China,” said Weiss, who will be among the presenters at the show. “China is number-one in the mining world when it comes to production and consumption, plus 12 of the world’s top 40 mining companies are based in China.
“We believe strongly that our solutions can help every mine to be safer and more productive, regardless of size and location. With Hexagon‘s strong presence in China and a solid reputation, it makes sense to be a part of this established annual event.”
Weiss will present ‘Solutions and Technical Trends’ while Senior Development Manager, Zhanyou Huang will present ‘Solutions and Application’.
The Mining division’s foray into China follows the launch of its Channel Partner Program earlier this month. Hexagon is working to attract more partners and has published a guide explaining levels of commitment and the benefits of joining.
