Global Mining Review,
With the outbreak of COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus), the company have tak-en the following precautionary steps to help reduce the risk of spreading this virus:
It is enhancing its cleaning processes at our store locations and has temporarily discontinued providing the following as they are high touch areas:
- Complimentary coffee/tea and popcorn.
- Magazines and reading materials.
- Limiting business travel within the organisation.
- Promoting everyday preventative behaviours with its teams.
Please know we continue to maintain our high standards for safety and cleanliness and will continue to practice preventative measures to reduce the spread of germs within all our facilities. We will also continue to take precautions and be guided by recommendations made by the Public Health Agency of Canada and local health authorities.
At this time, all our stores will continue to remain open for business. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, we will continue to provide updates to all customers and team members as required. All of us at Kal Tire feel deeply for those who have been impacted by this outbreak.
