Global Mining Review,
There is an open invitation to participate in the ‘GMG: Data Exchange for Mine Software - The Open Mining Format (OMF)’ survey.
The OMF was developed to enable seamless and reliable transfer of data between mine software packages and to enable major efficiency gains by eliminating the time currently required for manual and/or convoluted data transfer across the mine site. Version One was developed last year to prove out the concept and demonstrate the possible.
This survey will collect input from mining companies and other mining stakeholders to direct the focus for Version Two. Your input here will help determine what topics and areas, should be focused on next and should take no more than 5 min. to complete.
Please click here to retrieve and complete the survey by 16 August. The results will be a part of the discussions held at the GMG Future Mining Forum in Brisbane on 21 - 22 August.
