As of 24 April 2025, three drillholes have been drilled in the southern area of the licence targeting potential mineralised extensions beyond the historic resource envelope. The Reverse Circulation (RC) drill programme is designed to test extensions to depth and along strike. The use of RC drilling allows for cost-efficient operations whilst delivering large sample volumes, critical for accurately characterising the nuggety nature of gold mineralisation at Yarrol.
The rig has now moved north to complete additional holes to test below the known mineralisation and step out into previously untested parallel zones to the historic resource envelope.
The company has sent samples from the initial three holes to the independent laboratory and now awaits the assay results which shall be reported in due course.
The company will update further as the drilling campaign progresses.
Mark Stephenson, Director of Mila Resources, said:
“This initial campaign is the start of a systematic approach to unlocking the Yarrol district. We believe the historic work significantly underestimates the scale of the opportunity here, not only in the high-grade veins, but in the broader halo of mineralisation that could support commercial tonnage. The Yarrol deposit is just the start of a much larger trend that we are only just starting to evaluate. We expect to receive assay results in the coming weeks and progress drilling, and I look forward to reporting these when appropriate.”
