High grade gold project: Topacio to be resumed by Oro Verde Ltd

Oro Verde Limited has announced that it has control of exploration activities at the Topacio Gold Project, located in southeastern Nicaragua
The focus for Oro Verde will be to expand the high grade resource potential of the project. Newcrest, has now withdrawn from the project, after being the primary input into exploration activities since November 2015.
The understanding of the Topacio project advance during this period, with Newcrest making the addition of concession wide multi-element geochemical, airborne geophysical data and detailed geological mapping, presenting many new targets for Oro Verde to focus on.
Oro Verde will be re-focusing its exploration activities on the high grade targets defined around the existing 340 000 ounce gold resource at the main Topacio area, where some recent trenching examples by Oro Verde resulted in highly encouraging gold results.
