The equipment manufacturer refurbished a DDC-Sizer for a coal customer in New South Wales, Australia.

The companies say the automated system will provide the global mining industry with the world’s most advanced solution in wear detection of conveyor rollers.

The three-year subscription package will cover Conuma’s three mines near Tumbler Ridge in northeastern British Columbia, Canada.

The new operating system has a single operator able to remotely control more machines from the same operator station in a central location at a mine site.

The company will be presenting a new eccentric roll crusher amongst other products.

The company will be showcasing the toolkit at the AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo, 12 – 14 February at Booth 39056 at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, Indiana, US.

Fernando Beitia, Director of Bulk Products of MAXAM, will also talk about the company’s emulsion and watergel technologies at a conference during the show.

The company’s investment in its sales and operational teams is intended to enable the development of customer-specific solutions.

According to the report, the global mining equipment market is expected to reach US$188.77 billion by 2025 from US$106.85 billion in 2017.
