Global Mining Review,
The miniDriller DM901HDE is the most compact drill rig for underground mines.
Ideal to complete Aramine’s equipment range for narrow vein mines, the DM901HDE has a diesel engine for tramming and an electric motor for drilling.
“We developed this new drill rig based on the simplicity of use,” stated Marc Melkonian, Aramine President
The DM901 HDE has a low centre of gravity, which gives an optimal stability and despite its narrowness, its two front stabilisers offer perfect drilling conditions.
Given its top stability, this machine allows face and vertical drilling.
The company’s R&D department has associated existing technologies to develop this fully autonomous drill rig. In fact, using the DM901 HDE only requires a 400 V electric connection and a water supply.
Also, designed with different modular elements to be easily assembled and dismountable in a mine, it sneaks wherever our L130 and L150 miniLoader® go.
Indeed, this new machine is ideal for sections between 6 - 12 m2.
Thanks to the historical partnership with Epiroc, Aramine can offer an exclusive optional version with an Epiroc feed and drifter.
“As most of Aramine machines are, the DM901 HDE completes perfectly the Epiroc range,” said Arnaud Paul, Aramine Equipment Sales Director.
With its avant-garde vision, Aramine is preparing the fully electric battery powered version for 2020, with innovations at all levels of the machine.
