In the second quarter of 2018, Ingeteam successfully finished the commissioning of the medium voltage variable speed drive for the two grinding mills at a gold mine in Kazakhstan.
Ingeteam was awarded the main drive package by the main technology provider Outotec Oy Finland. Ingeteam’s scope of supply includes one Ingedrive MV700 medium voltage variable speed drive with synchronous bypass system and two induction motors for feeding one SAG mill and one Ball mill.
Commissioning of one INGEDRIVE MV700, with rated power of 4400 kW, 150% overload during start, 6 kV input voltage and a 6 kV output voltage, air cooled and with a 24 pulse diode rectifier was successfully completed at the beginning of June 2018.
INGEDRIVE is available with powers up to 44 MVA, from 400V to 690V in low voltage and from 3 kV to 6.9 kV in medium voltage, offering a high level of performance and reliability together with a user-friendly interface.
