Sitka Gold has commenced its 2025 diamond drilling programme at 100% owned RC Gold Project in the Tombstone Gold Belt, Yukon.

This 30 000 m programme is primarily aimed at expanding the Blackjack gold deposit, testing mineralisation in the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex (CCIC), and exploring targets such as Eiger, Saddle, Rhosgobel, Contact, and Pukelman.

"This is our largest drilling campaign to date," said CEO Cor Coe, pointing out that the drilling in 2025 will more than double the total number of meters drilled at RC Gold.

The Blackjack deposit hosts an indicated resource of 1.3 million oz at 1.01 Gt gold, and an inferred resource of 1.04 million oz at 0.93 Gt gold to date, and is open in all directions; this will be the focus of activity.

itka also intends to follow up on recent discoveries, including 119.0 m of 1.05 Gt gold at the Rhosgobel target, with intercepts of 37.9 m of 2.05 Gt gold and 11.5 m of 4.32 Gt gold, as well as robust intrusion-related gold at the Pukelman target, similar to Blackjack.
