Bechtel have opened a new office in Denver to support their expanding Mining & Metals business across North America.

Located in the Denver Tech Centre (4643 South Ulster St., Suite 230), the office is designed for growth as the company strengthens its support for customers and projects throughout the region.

The move follows Bechtel’s role as engineering, procurement, and construction partner for the Thacker Pass lithium project in Nevada – one of the largest and most advanced lithium developments in the US. The Denver office positions Bechtel closer to key mining hubs and future opportunities across the Western US.

Key highlights of the new Denver office:

  • Serves as a hub for project studies and customer engagement across North America.
  • Supports Bechtel’s business development efforts focused on key commodities driving the energy transition – copper, aluminium, and lithium.
  • The Denver team collaborates closely with Bechtel’s global engineering centres in India, Santiago, and Brisbane to deliver innovative, efficient solutions.
  • Reflects Denver’s role as a gateway to the Western US mining region and a centre for sustainable resource development.

“Denver is home to some of the most innovative talent and forward-looking mining companies in the world,” said Robert Owens, Bechtel’s North American General Manager for Mining & Metals. “This new office positions us closer to key customers and partners and underscores our commitment to advancing the next generation of mining and resource development across North America.”
