BHP provides tailings facilities update
The company has said that it has completed Dam Risk Reviews for active, inactive and closed tailings storage facilities across its business since the failure of the Fundão dam at Samarco, Brazil, in 2015.
TerraCom and South32 increase donations for Queensland flood recovery efforts
The Queensland Resources Council said TerraCom donated AUS$250 000 to GIVIT, while South32’s Cannington mine added another AUS$250 000 to the company’s original AUS$1 million.
