Barrick selected Metso’s Concorde Cell flotation technology for the Lumwana copper project in Zambia

The Concorde Cell flotation cells will work in combination with the TankCell® technology previously selected for the project.

In 2024, Metso announced an order of comprehensive concentrator plant equipment for the Lumwana copper project. The value of the Concorde Cell equipment order was booked in the Minerals segment’s 3Q25 order intake.
