Darma Henwa expands fleet with 10 new Liebherr machines

In recent months Darma Henwa expanded its operations at Bengalon, located in East Kalimantan, and is now providing its services at an additional pit.

Production targets have also increased at Kintap, in the South Kalimantan region. These operational changes have brought about the need for additional machines at both locations.

Deliveries of the new excavators took place between 3Q25 and 2Q26 of this year, with the last unit – an R 9200 – delivered to Bengalon back in April. The addition of these latest machines brings the total number of Liebherr machines at Bengalon to 17 and at Kintap to four.

A partnership built on trust

"Liebherr products and their after-sales service are highly commendable. Since arriving on site, our R 9200 fleet has impressed us with its superior fuel efficiency and structural strength. And collectively, all of our Liebherr equipment on site plays a significant role in supporting our production plan at Bengalon for 2026," says Arofik Anwar, operation manager for Darma Henwa at Bengalon mine.
