Global Mining Review,
Further to the announcement on 24 May 2022, Newfield Resources Ltd has re-commenced mining operations at its underground mine in Sierra Leone.
The underground tunnel/development heading, where the incident occurred, remains closed pending completion of the investigation by the relevant authorities, in conjunction with the Company’s personnel.
