The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) are hosting CIM CONNECT 2025 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from May 4 – 7.

There will be over 280 technical presentations and 20 panels on the latest research, short courses from industry experts, and an expo floor with over 600 exhibiting companies.

The theme is ‘Minerals, Innovation and the Energy Transition,’ and it spotlights Canada’s unique role in the global minerals, metals, and energy landscape. From circularity to the energy transition, CIM CONNECT 2025 will feature the latest innovations and insights transforming the minerals and energy sectors. Connect, learn, and lead the way forward.

Since this year’s conference is in Montreal, CIM want to ensure that mining is accessible to all, inviting diverse perspectives and innovative ideas from the community. AI-generated transcripts and audio for simultaneous translation in session rooms will be available in French and English, making it easier for everyone to engage.
