The directors of Thor Mining Plc have announced that the results of the second hole in the diamond drilling programme at the Molyhil tungsten-molybdenum-copper project in the Northern Territory.

Since Akobo Minerals received the mining licence, resource extension drilling, surface exploration and multidisciplinary project development work has been ongoing to advance the Segele project towards gold production.

Gold Terra Resource Corp. has entered into an option agreement with Newmont Canada FN Holdings to purchase Miramar Northern Mining.

Rio Tinto has become the sole owner of the Diavik Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories of Canada, continuing its role as a leader in the Canadian diamond industry.
