Metso breaks ground in Western Canada with new service centre

Situated in the heart of a key Canadian mining region, the facility will support growing customer demand – particularly in the copper and gold sectors. Metso will offer OEM-certified on-site inspections, turnkey service solutions, and off-site repairs. The centre is expected to be fully operational by early 2026.

The centre will service a wide range of mining equipment from pit to port, including crushing, grinding, screening, filtration, flotation, slurry handling, thickening, clarifying, loading and hauling solutions, chute lining, and more. It will also offer warehousing capabilities for spare and wear parts.

The new facility will further contribute to this effort by creating employment opportunities for skilled professionals, such as service engineers and technical specialists.

As part of this commitment, the expansion of the service centre and the opening of a new training centre in Mesa, Arizona, USA, are scheduled for completion in 2026. Alongside the new facility in Prince George, these investments will further strengthen Metso’s service footprint and enhance customer support across North America.
