Ecuador’s Constitutional Court reaffirms revocation of Cornerstone's Rio Magdalena permit

Cornerstone Capital Resources has received formal notification of a final decision by Ecuador’s Constitutional Court reaffirming the revocation of its environmental permit for the Rio Magdalena Project.
The company is reportedly consulting with legal counsel to determine what rights and remedies it may have, including under the 1996 Canada-Ecuador Bilateral Investment Treaty, unilaterally terminated by Ecuador in 2018 but which has a 15 year survival/sunset clause.
