Getman Corp. exhibited at the MINExpo International 2021, meeting with customers, distributors, and media. Conversations centred around core products, with a nod to two new product solutions designed with customers in mind.

Getman offers customer-focused solutions for production and production support equipment to both mine managers and technicians. With over six decades of experience serving underground mining, Getman designs its equipment with extensive research and development.

ProShotTM Concrete Spraying Vehicle

The success of Getman’s recently completed ProShot concrete spraying vehicle trial in a western US mine was the topic of many conversations.

“The ProShot has proven to do was it was designed to do – apply a consistent, quality layer of sprayed concrete. This innovation offers an unparalleled boom coverage area and features an accelerator dosing system that automatically synchronises to the concrete pump output without requiring additional operator input,” said Product Manager ,Rick Kraft. Touchscreen displays provide a safe way for the operator to control the flow of concrete product from either inside or outside the vehicle cabin.

ProChargeTM MAXXTM Explosive Chargers

Long a standard for A64 Underground Utility Vehicles, Getman EXPLOSIVES CHARGERS are versatile vehicles designed to work in development drifting, production charging, up-hole charging applications and more. Getman recently introduced the new ProCharge MAXX configuration for its 3000 and 4000 explosive charger units.

“Our integrated emulsion system includes the emulsion, water, and gasser tanks, along with water and gasser pumps, hydraulic valves, and a hose handling system,” added Getman’s Principal Product Line Engineer, Mario Tremblay.

Getman’s optional hose handling system includes hose pushers, a hose reel, and hose guides for up or down holes. Space is also allocated for explosives supplier emulsion pumps and their process control system. “The system can accommodate all known explosives companies’ components,” Tremblay noted. “Once the explosives supplier is identified, we are involved up front to ensure successful integration.”

“These product launch represents our resolve to meet changing customer needs for product development,” concluded Getman Product Development Manager, Christopher Warner. “These new product design advances reflect Getman’s years of service to the mining industry. Both ProShot and ProCharge meet the challenge of maintaining a balance between a manoeuvrable chassis size and a layout that facilitates safe and easy daily maintenance.”
