Australian autonomous solutions specialist RCT will be exhibiting its technology at the forthcoming MiningWorld Russia exhibition in Moscow from 23 - 25 April.

The centrepiece of RCT’s exhibition will be its ControlMaster® Automation Centre which consists of an ergonomically-designed leather chair, high definition screens and a new navigation controller device.

The Automation Centre enables equipment operators to control machines from the comfort of a temperature-controlled remote cabin.

Operators can also access a vast array of information including real time machine data (G-Dash), camera feeds from multiple angles and even control multiple machines at once (MMC).

RCT’s Moscow-based CIS Business Development Manager Stephen Macarow and Custom department Manager Steven Appleton will help delegates test the technology and the purpose built simulator featuring automated surface mining activities.

Macarow said he was already fielding interest from people planning to attend the exhibition who want to try operating the Automation Centre.

“We will be able to explain how our automation technology can lower a mine site’s operating costs, provide additional safety for equipment operators and to increase productivity,” he said.

RCT will be exhibiting at the Automation Centre at Booth C265 from 23 - 25 April.
