FPX Nickel Corp. announces that the British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Mines has approved the permit allowing drilling at the Decar Nickel Project.
The Decar project is considered the company’s flagship, and is located in central British Columbia.
A 2000 m step-out drilling program is to commence in order to test the Baptiste deposit’s southeast extension, located within Decar. This will be undertaken to further the receipt of the permit, and is expected to commence at the end of August 2017.
Martin Turenne, President and CEO stated: “The focus of this year’s campaign will be to test the potential to add higher-grade resources immediately to the southeast of the existing Baptiste deposit, where adjacent holes drilled during the final phase of the 2012 campaign returned the highest-grading drill intercepts on the property.”
